About Dr. Hold
Michael Hold, MD, FACOG, draws on his considerable training and expertise to serve his patients at Women's Health Care Center of Houston, with two locations in Houston, Texas. Dr. Hold is recognized in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, having been nominated Physician of the Year at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital. In practice for more than a decade, he is well-liked by his patients and has formed lifelong relationships with them and their families.
Dr. Hold earned his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in Galveston and his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He remained there for residency training in obstetrics and gynecology and served as chief resident.
A Houston native, Dr. Hold joined the Women's Health Care Center of Houston in 2007. He is not only a board-certified OB/GYN, but he also has met additional criteria to become a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a mark of expertise in the field.
Dr. Hold is bilingual in English and Spanish. When he’s not caring for his patients, he engages in his favorite outdoor pastimes, which include camping, hiking, and fishing. He also enjoys the arts and listening to live music.
